Top Five Folly Beach Burgers

folly beach vacation homes

Whether you like your burger as song says, “with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes, big kosher pickle and a cold draught beer”  or maybe a slightly different way, you’ve come to the right place.

So which way do you steer?

Rita’s “Rita’s Cheeseburger”

Rita’s has a great menu and a fun vibe; it’s a must-go spot. This burger is unbelievable. Come hungry, because this is a serious culinary experience. Half pound black angus beef pattie, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cheese, Rita’s sauce, with a dill pockle on a brioche bun. You can make it your own by adding a fried egg and applewood snoked bacon or go with caramelized mushrooms and onions!

Lost Dog Café “Bacon Cheddar Burger”

The Lost Dog Café is open for breakfast and lunch and has a fun, eclectic feel. The Bacon Cheddar Burger is really good on its own (incredibly juicy), but if you want something unusual and delicious, add the Colorado pork green chile to spice things up.

Coconut Joe’s “Carolina Burger”

Come for the great atmoshere and friendly service, and then dive into the massive Carolina Burger with all the toppings but with pimento cheese to top it off.

Pier 101- “Old Fashioned Diner Burger”

This restaurant is right on the pier—the views and atmosphere are amazing. This is the perfect place to hit when you need a beach break or to wrap up a long day in the sun. The Old Fashioned Diner Burger is a classic ½ pound burger with grilled onions, house pickles and american cheese on a brioche bun.

The Washout- “Washout Burger”

The Washout is a fun, laid back spot in the heart of Folly’s beach town. The “Washout Burger” is a classic burger, seared on the outside and juicy on the inside. Wash one down with daily drink specials and a happy hour from 4-7.
