Weather Report: April 22, 2013

Spring is finally here! But this weather has been anything but predictable. After some heavy showers at the end of last week, this week’s weather will take a little while to recover to perfection. Here’s what you can expect.

The sunshine will be out on Monday, April 22, but highs will only reach around 68 degrees, with lows around 51. There’s a 30-percent chance of rain, and a brisk wind will blow north by northeast at around 17 miles per hour.

On Tuesday, the chance of rain will decrease to 20-percent, and temperatures will be just a little warmer under partly cloudy skies. The high will be 71, with a low at 58. The ocean temperatures will be right around 70 degrees, which might make for a chilly swim.

Wednesday will be mark the warmest part of the week, with a high of 75 and a low of 61 degrees. The chance of rain will stay right at 20 percent and skies will stay partly cloudy.

By Thursday, rain will roll back in. Be on the look out for 30-percent chance of isolated thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures will be cooler too with a high of 69 degrees. Lows will be in the lower 50s.

Unfortunately, the cooler weather is moving in for a bit, and it’ll be followed closely by more rain. The highs for Friday and Saturday will only reach the low 70s, with lows right around 60 degrees. On Saturday, the rain chances raise to 20 percent.

Despite a slight warm-up to the upper 70s on Sunday, can expect all-day rain showers. The low will be 61.

This week might not be the best most ideal beach weather, but if you’re on Folly, then you’re already in paradise, right?
