Mark Your Calendar Now for the Folly Jazz Festival

Can we get an amen for the fact that the weather is finally starting to feel like something more closely resembling fall? The cooler temps moving in should inspire the mosquitoes to move out, and we can truly start to settle into this glorious season.

And what better way to start than by attending the third annual Folly Jazz Festival?

Held this coming weekend, Nov. 5 – 6, at the Folly River Park, the festival is a celebration of “the cultural and education attributes of jazz in the Lowcountry.” This year, it promises to be bigger and better than ever, with even more toe-tapping jazz talent prepared to serenade the crowd.

Are you ready to get your jazz on? Since the festival is free (yes, free — amazing, but true), there really isn’t any better way to spend your weekend. You’ll get to see top-notch musical acts and mingle with your fellow Follyians, and it won’t cost you a penny to get in. Talk about hitting a high note!

Here are the details on this year’s line-up and how each day is set to play out. Pencil it in now so you don’t forget. Bring your lawn chairs but leave your coolers and, most importantly, happy jazz enjoying.
